Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including families, teachers and partners who go online on a basic phone and a slow connection.

What we have done

Every page can be used with a keyboard, including the menus and the slideshow, and shows where the keyboard focus is.
Informative images have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
Illustrations and proposed building concepts are labelled, so they are not mistaken for photographs.
Pages work on small screens, and animation is reduced if your device asks for reduced motion.
Text and background colours are chosen for readable contrast.

What we have not yet checked

We test the website in a desktop and mobile browser. We have not yet tested it with screen readers and other assistive technology used by disabled people, so some problems may remain.
